Once you have that information you can make a determination: → Do you have confidence in the leadership to implement these initiatives? → Are their goals realistic? → Are there any other significant challenges or headwinds? → How transparent and open was the conversation? I was speaking with hugely successful VP global sales about what he looks for when hiring. This guy is running a high performance team, one with very little attrition, and with people earning multiples of their base - it's enterprise sales into established banks and FSI customers globally. He said when interviewing potential team members he's looking to see that work is one of their top priorities in life, not an after thought or something that they have to do, but something that they are hugely motivated by. In my experience, top performers prioritise the following in this order: ▪ Family ▪ Health ▪ Work ....and then everything else. There's never been a better time to be in sales in my opinion, but it has to be a genuine priority to win. #GTM #sales #hiring
