Poppulo’s SKO is officially a wrap! There is nothing more motivating than gathering together to align on our strategies for the upcoming year and celebrate the successes of the last. This year, with it being in person, seeing people IRL and being a part of a growing global footprint left me with some thoughts: - In person engagements are not going away. - Communications are more important than ever. - Transparency and consistent engagement with your team in all forums lends itself to a more engaged and educated workforce. - The impact that you can drive with one communication channel is always outdone by meeting folks where they are at and continuing to drive a message home through multiple channels. - We do some cool stuff for employees, leaders, companies, travelers and guests! I just had to say it! ;) We did some amazing things last year and I cannot wait to see what this new year will bring! #poppulo #sko #employeecommunications #employeeengagement #guestexperience

Well have a gander at that would ya? Certainly proves I like to have me mates around on the job, and I like it when everyone's comfortable even if it seems like there's a few kangaroos runnin' loose in the top paddock. I'm best when everyone is allowed have a fair crack of the whip and doesn't dawdle around getting the job done. A healthy sense of sarcasm makes can make me an acquired taste for some. That's my Australian take. Whatever language it's been expressed in, I have gained a deep sense of awareness through the years in first understanding my own workstyle preferences using Globesmart. It is a key tool that I also use in my training, facilitation and executive coaching work. When client have a chance to discover the tool for themselves, it opens up deep insights in how they lead others, develop and manage relationships, communicate and much more when working within and across cultures. #Aperian #Globesmart #culturalmentor #globalleadership #culturalcompetence #diversityandinclusion #culturalawareness #leadership #leadershipskills Aperian

Every day, I encounter tough decisions in the journey of building Genda. Initially, it was a challenge to turn down promising opportunities, even when my instincts signaled caution. But saying yes to everything led to failures, and those failures became valuable lessons. This week posed a significant decision. I aimed to stick to our company's values and set a positive example for my team. The main lesson learned is that making the right choice not only benefits me but also positively impacts my team, clients, and partners. Leading a business has its mix of challenges and joys, but it's truly one incredible ride! 🚀 #DecisionMaking #LeadershipJourney #GendaAdventure

General Manager Goglio(Tianjin) Packaging | Packaging Innovation | Sustainable Packaging | Bridging Strategy, Sustainability, and Packaging
Diego Marini, talented co-founder of YummyColours design studio, recently spoke about how failure is a part of every creative process. He said, "Everything that has to do with rejection in our industry is something that you can turn into a positive." This struck a chord with me not just from a creative perspective, but as a part of the sustainability industry for many years too. The ability to embrace failure, learn from it, and use it as a catalyst for growth is one of the most important mindsets a leader can cultivate. Every wildly successful company has experienced countless "failures" along the road. There are product ideas that flopped, initiatives that missed the mark, and strategies that had to be abandoned and retooled. What separates those who succeed from those who stagnate is their ability to react positively to setbacks. Bring that mindset into your organisation and watch creativity and growth follow. #leadership #growth #strategy

Helping Amazing Technical Experts Become Inspiring Technical Leaders By Developing Skills, Knowledge And Self-Belief | Technical Leadership Coach & Mentor | Techie Cheerleader | Opinionated Straight Talker
Attention to all tech leaders reading this: your team's success is your success and your success is your team’s success. Are you celebrating either enough? I bet you that the answer is NO - (add a comment if you would like to take me up on that bet) We in tech always want to wait just to be sure before we celebrate and that can often mean that the time has passed and we are onto the next thing. Remember when it comes to celebrating success the right time is always right now. It doesn’t matter if there are issues tomorrow.

The Unity of Hyenas: Strength in Numbers A few months ago, I watched a YouTube video where a pack of hyenas rescued their kin from the jaws of a lion. It was incredible to see how, through teamwork and coordination, they were able to achieve what seemed impossible. That experience got me thinking about the power of collaboration. Just like those hyenas, teams that work together, support one another, and strategically coordinate their efforts can overcome the toughest challenges. In our own professional lives, the lesson is clear: ✅ Collaborate effectively – Great things happen when individuals align toward a common goal. ✅ Leverage collective strength – Each team member plays a vital role in achieving success. ✅ Never underestimate teamwork – Even the most daunting tasks can be tackled when we come together. Building a culture of teamwork and cooperation is key to driving success, and it's something we can all foster in our workplaces. How has teamwork made a difference in your professional life? #Teamwork #Collaboration #Leadership #StrengthInNumbers #CollectiveEffort #ProfessionalGrowth

I recently listened to a CEO (not yet a Vistage member) confess, “I have no clue what to do; I just have to figure it out.” This is the classic school of hard knocks, where leaders learn through trial and error, often at great personal and professional cost. Imagine stepping into a room with a dozen other CEOs from diverse industries and businesses of all sizes. Each one brings unique experiences and insights. In this dynamic environment, you’ll find that someone has already navigated the challenges you’re facing. This is the power of a Vistage Worldwide, Inc. group. It’s not just about figuring it out alone; it’s about leveraging the collective wisdom of your peers to find solutions faster and more effectively. Together, we turn the school of hard knocks into a school of shared success and growth.

I could tell you the story of how we got here, but instead, I'll focus on noting how bright the future looks for Coforma, with Ashleigh taking on the role of COO and helping to lead us into it. Onward and upwards! #coo #strategy #digitalservices
We’re kicking off 2024 with some exciting news! Ashleigh Axios is embracing a new appointment as Coforma’s Chief Operating Officer. Since she joined in 2019 as our Chief Experience Officer, Ashleigh’s been busy thoughtfully leading and developing much of the company’s operations, building up the Design department, and partnering with Coforma’s CEO Eduardo Ortiz to bring the company’s vision and mission to life. “Ashleigh has always been passionate—not just about where the organization is going, but about ensuring we get there effectively and ethically, always continue improving, and stay mission- and values-aligned,” Eduardo says. “Her transition to COO represents alignment and recognition of the full scope of her hard work.” As COO, Ashleigh is eager to continue driving Coforma’s operational growth and fostering a supportive company culture. “Coforma is becoming a recognized leader for our work uncovering the insights needed to create products and services that undeniably improve our world," Ashleigh says. "It’s been a privilege to be a part of building Coforma to this point. I’m excited that my new appointment enables me to more fully lean into leading and sharpening our operations, crafting value-aligned practices, and cultivating a rich and dynamic culture that supports team members holistically.” Congratulations, Ashleigh! We’re honored to have you at the helm as we continue to expand our impact. #CoformaCulture #TechForGood #DigitalServices #Leadership #Executive #SmallBusinessOwners

"I deeply believe in the power of people, therefore the Positive Team Challenge appeared as evidence to provide strong recognition gifts to each of our company associates. The speed and good rate of participation were very encouraging. I want to acknowledge the efficiency and agility of the Listen Leon Team, which allowed us to set up this challenge in 2 weeks! I encourage all leaders who care about people to consider the Positive Team Challenge and Listen Leon as key enablers of a culture of recognition." As we lead up to World Compliment Day, embrace the Positive Team Challenge to foster a culture of recognition. Seeing the joy as colleagues receive meaningful recognition can inspire and uplift the entire team. Quick to launch and with a high rate of participation, it’s a testament to the power of appreciation. Let’s celebrate our teams and the value they bring. #WorldComplimentDay #PositiveTeamChallenge #RecognitionCulture #positiveleadership #teambuilding
