PRESS RELEASE
ALTERNATIVE PROGRAM ANNOUNCED AS GO GLOBAL CONFERENCE REVISED WITH FRESH ALTERNATIVES
ATLANTA, GA – September 12th, 2024. After thoughtful consideration of the challenges and excessive delays that the international partners and stakeholders of the Go Global Conference International Trade and Investment Expo are experiencing, the planning team have chosen to revise the program for the conference.
In light of this, the conference organizing team is actively exploring alternative program to achieve the set objectives.
Speaking on this development, Ricardo Berris, Chairman of the Go Global Conference Planning Committee, explained that the team is committed to maintaining momentum and has outlined a series of alternative activities leading up to the week of October 2nd - 5th, 2024.
According to him, these alternative events are designed to keep the global Black business community connected and engaged. The activities include:
• Exclusive program designed to connect local and international businesses that are still desirous of coming to Atlanta.
• Virtual program that incorporates the key activities of the Go Global Conference during the week of October 2nd - 5th, 2024. These activities are:
-B2B Matchmaking
-GO Pitch Showcase
-Language & Cultural Pods
-International Trade Zone
-Fireside Chats & Panel Discussions
-Workshops and Training
In his remarks, Melvin Coleman, President/CEO of the Atlanta Black Chambers, noted that this decision presents an opportunity to deliver an even greater experience for all local and international partners in Atlanta.
He said, “The Atlanta Black Chambers remains committed to advancing the global Black business community through this platform, and we are excited about what the future holds. I urge everyone to take advantage of the alternative programming that GOC has lined up for the week of October 2nd - 5th, 2024.”
