Tuesday, September 24, at 12:00, in Bern. Free registration: https://lnkd.in/evBfPGNZ About: as a Senior Scientist in R&D at Bern University Hospital, Raja leads research projects on inflammation, hemostasis, thrombosis, rare bleeding disorders, and myeloproliferative neoplasms. With over 11 years of expertise in translational & clinical research, she has a strong background in hematology and a passion for developing innovative solutions that improve patients' lives. Raja co-founded BLEEDnFIRE Therapeutics. The startups develops a promising treatment for hemophilia and allied bleeding disorders. SLN140 (Orphan drug) works by specifically targeting and reducing the activity of protein S (PS), a factor in the blood that prevents clotting. By lowering PS levels, this therapy helps to promote clotting, thereby reducing the risk of bleeding in hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. SLN140 represents a new class of RNA therapeutics (ATMP), which are cost-effective, easy to produce, and can safely target pathways that were previously difficult to treat. BLEEDnFIRE Therapeutics owns 3 patent families granted in US/Korea/Japan/Israel and the nationalization phase is ongoing in several other countries. Raja will share details about her journey building a successful startup and help answer some of these questions: - How to validate my idea? - How to fund my idea? - How to find help to bring my idea to life? Tuesday, September 24, 12:00-13:00, at Uni Bern.
