According to Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia, the technicians also have more confidence in the new system, which is easier to install and check. Whereas a cable installation used to take up to twelve hours, today the work is completed in half the time. It was great to have participants like Pertamina Drilling Services at the #vectoraward this year! Tim Schneebeck Florian Palatini David Jasinski #improvewhatmoves igus Inc.

Facts You Must Know About Platform Resak Did you know how many platforms there are in Malaysia? According to Petronas Annual Report 2015, our country has a total of 349 oil and gas platforms, with 6 platforms having been decommissioned. All of these platforms operate across 198 fields. So for those looking to work in the oil and gas field, finding a job is definitely not an excuse. Roughly speaking, oil and gas in Malaysia are of very high quality. After all, our country can supply 35 types of oil and gas internationally. But today, we're not talking about the number of operational platforms; we're talking about a specific platform located in Kerteh. This platform is Platform Resak. Here are some essential facts you should know about this platform: 1. Platform Resak is one of the earliest established platforms because it operates under a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) with the Malaysian government. 2. It is fully operated under Petronas. 3. The Resak Platform project is a development project initiated by the Malaysian government, aligning with Malaysia's interests, which holds nearly 81.7 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. 4. It includes two offshore platforms and one onshore facility: Resak Drilling Platform A (RDP-A), Resak Central Production Platform (RCPP), and Resak Onshore Gas Terminal (Resak OGT). 5. Each section has its role; for example, RCPP is the heart of the Resak Platform as it houses facilities, power generators, living quarters, and more. 6. Under Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd., this platform is located in the Northeast of Kerteh, with a 135 km pipeline distance to the operational area. 7. An advantage of Platform Resak is that since the year 2000, it has been able to produce 400 MMSCFD (million standard cubic feet per day) of natural gas and 13,000 bpd (barrels per day) of oil. Additionally, this platform can supply up to 15% of gas across Peninsular Malaysia. Looking to apply for a job in oil and gas but not sure how? We can guide you!
