I believe it's a complex reality rooted in social norms and systemic barriers. Here's my suggestion to create an impact: 1. Personal Branding: Women navigating the corporate ladder must cultivate a strong personal brand that highlights their skills, expertise, and leadership qualities. This involves developing a polished professional image, effective communication skills, and an executive presence. 2. Networking and Mentorship: Building strong networks and seeking mentorship are crucial strategies for career advancement. Seek guidance on networking etiquette, personal branding in networking contexts, and fostering mentorship relationships that support your career growth. 3. Assertiveness Training: Women often face challenges asserting themselves and advocating for advancement. So by communicating confidently, negotiating effectively, and navigating power dynamics in the workplace will lead you to create an impact. Overall, addressing the uphill battle women face in climbing the corporate ladder requires a holistic approach that combines personal branding, skill development, advocacy, and systemic change. Work with these points to navigate these challenges with confidence and authenticity. . #corporate #womenentrepreneurs #womenempoweringwomen #personalbrand #networking #corporatetrainers #imageprofessional #imageconsultant
1. Women drop out at middle management level 2. Not enough measures to plug the gap 3. Fewer number of women reach influential positions. Starting tomorrow we will start singing praises of Womanhood and celebrate the international women's day. But can we do something to bring change from the grassroots? From what I have seen and experienced at WINGSforGrowth I strongly believe that Mentorship is a solution to this problem. What are your thoughts?

Excellent event held by the PartnerWise team. If you would like to attend, participate or support, please reach out via the link in the article
Yesterday we hosted our latest WISE event at The Apartment at Bicester Village, it was a powerful gathering of senior female leaders, led by Chair and Chief Merchant of Value Retail/The Bicester Collection, Desiree Bollier. We delved into crucial conversations about gender equality and the urgent need for equal opportunities in entrepreneurship. Here are some key highlights: 💡 Less than 3% of women-led businesses receive venture capital. 💼 If men and women were equally represented in entrepreneurship, global GDP could rise by 3% to 6%, equivalent to up to $5 trillion. 🌍 Desirée shared her incredible career journey, emphasising the importance of breaking barriers for women in business and the critical need for mentorship. 🌟 We discussed the impactful Unlock Her Future Prize, an annual start-up competition launched in 2022, supporting women social entrepreneurs and aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We also got to learn about the inspiring 2023 MENA edition winners and the amazing businesses they are building. Thank you to all the wonderful Ladies who joined us for this event and your participation. Let's continue to champion women in entrepreneurship, break down barriers, and accelerate the change needed for a more inclusive and diverse future.
