💡 Eureka! Reducing 87 tonnes of CO2 per year with the power of the sun! 🌿 <br><br>🌞 In August 2022, Carmacks took a significant step towards a greener future by installing our first solar array at our Nisku site. Building on this success, Carmacks is thrilled to announce the expansion of our sustainable energy solution at our Edmonton site. We recently installed 358 solar panels on the roof of our Edmonton shop, a project perfectly aligned with Vinci's Roadmap to reduce scope 1 and 2 CO2 emissions by 40%. <br><br>⚡️Thanks to our partnership with the local company @Infernosolar, this new installation is projected to produce an impressive 167,349 kWh/year of clean energy. This reduction can be compared to 32,421 liters of diesel fuel or 113 acres of forest. This move not only accelerates our journey towards sustainability, but it also underscores our dedication to leveraging Alberta's abundant sunlight to power our operations responsibly. <br><br>🦬 Furthermore, we are committed to minimal environmental impact with this project.
