Happy Women’s Equity Day! At Vetsource, we love to see the growing number of women entering STEM jobs! Women’s Equity Day celebrates women’s suffrage with the passing of the 19th Amendment. However, just as it is important to recognize that women of color were denied access to the polls until the Voting Rights Act of 1965, it is also important to recognize the added barriers that women of color face in STEM today. On this Women's Equity Day, as we celebrate the advancement of ALL women, we encourage you to learn about some incredible women of color advancing STEM fields and the Society of STEM Women of Color.
