Happy New Year, everyone! 🎉   If you’re anything like me, you’ve spent a decent amount of time—maybe even a little too much time—thinking about all the things you’d like to change in your personal life in 2024. As Q4 wound down, I began to think more about my workplace New Year’s resolutions and quickly noticed a pattern throughout my personal and professional goals: they all centered around stepping outside of my comfort zone.   As a recruiter who spends a majority of my day on LinkedIn, I rarely ever post or engage with others’ posts on the platform—why?   To be honest, crafting short and snappy social content has never been one of my strengths (Exhibit A: this post). Also, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little intimidated by the thought of having my content subject to scrutiny by the hundreds of incredibly talented industry leaders and executives I’m lucky enough to be connected with on LinkedIn.   Hesitations aside, since stepping into the role of Managing Partner late last year, I’m committed to driving brand awareness and business development efforts for Vetted through any means necessary. In my case, one of these efforts means stepping outside of my comfort zone to create weekly social content to share with all of you!   So, whether you’re leading a small business, working to drive brand awareness for your company, or even striving to improve your personal brand on LinkedIn, but feel you don’t have anything original to say—you’re not alone!   In 2024, I hope we can all leverage LinkedIn as a safe space to share a little bit of radical honesty about our weaknesses, to celebrate the showcasing of works in progress, and to publicly do more of the things we’re maybe not so great at…yet. 😉 #newbeginnings #smallbuisness #recruitment #marketingrecruitment #prrecruitment #b2b #jobsearch
