I only realized today, what wonderful opportunity all the commercial password managers have ahead of them with regards to building a trusted vault replacement due to the Hashicorp acquisition - that's also the reason I'm better with tech than with business, as this realization is almost 2 months late. Bitwarden secrets manager is in a good position, having a fundamental level of trust already in that space (others maybe not so much). Let's see how all those offerings (if companies decide to make them open source) square up against openbao.
