What if...we could agree on a 'standardization' for ethical leadership? In May I had the privilege to join the first cohort of #LEiP - Leadership Excellence in Politics with 14 other peers from all over the world. Together we, for one week, got the opportunity to get training on and go deep in conversations about; ✅ Ethical and values-based democratic #leadership ✅ How #democratic leaders can engage with multilateral institutions ✅ The key challenges and opportunities that emerging #technologies present to democratic leadership It has taken me some time to sum up my thoughts and learnings from this training. I'm still processing it - but in short this is what I will continue to seek answers to, use my foresight sills on and discuss with others; ❓If we standardized ethical leadership - what would that do to international multilateral institutions and the bold decisions needed to be taken to secure safe and just earth system boundaries (#ESB)? Could a new way to behave in leadership be a key to achieve needed system #transformation? ❓Auditoriums are already fixed with chairs bolted to floors facing a stage where an expert (leader) is expected to speak – how is that effecting our ability to solve complex problems? How do we create collaborative collaborations for real? What if the future parliament would look and work completely different? ❓What role could #foresight as a skill play in supporting leaders when it comes to change the approach towards #tech and how it for real could be used to do good? ❓What kind of leader do I want to be? What is ethical leadership to me?
