#BSHI2024 - we had an absolute blast! 🥳 Great to catchup with so many of you. Highlights? 💡 ✅ Thanks to so many of you for joining our Pre-BSHI Technical Training, it sounds like you got a lot out if it. & great to kick off the daytime shackles & have a drink (& too much food) afterwards. ✅ Catching the Manchester vibe with our VHB Hacienda playlist (http://bit.ly/3ZeZJyC); on arrival at our workshop it felt like a rave with The Chemical Brothers (surreal, but I ain't complaining!). 🎶 ✅ Dr. Gideon Hönger's exceptional work and lunchtime presentation for One Lambda | A Thermo Fisher Scientific Brand MagSort. ✅ Dr. Robert Liwski's Terasaki Lecture, AXE Protocol for antibody adsorption, elution and HLA epitope definition. 🩸 ✅ Exceptional organisation by EBS, Dr. Helena Lee, the British Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (BSHI) & the local organising committee, & The Bridgewater Hall ✅ Great fun at our exhibitor stand with bee-autiful selfies, honey & wildflowers. 🌺🌸🌼 ✅ Meeting some old friends and making new ones; under duress staying out late (!) on Canal Street but *yes* it was fun. ✅ A huge thank you to the VH Bio Hive including Jess, Alison, Mohammad (for keeping the wheels turning whilst we were buzzing around), our honarary worker bee Emma Thompson from Podium Creative Ltd ... many others behind the scenes, you know who you are. 🫶🏻 🐝🍯
