🍕 Marketing Gone Cringe? Let’s Talk About Swiggy’s Latest Campaign 🎯 Swiggy just put out a new ad for their group ordering feature, and I’ve got to admit—it’s got me thinking. They brought together a bunch of viral creators like Puneet Superstar, Dolly Chaiwala, and Ganji Chudail, and the result is... well, chaotic in the best way. We’ve all been there—trying to order food with a group of friends, and it quickly turns into a mess. This ad leans into that chaos with a bunch of over-the-top personalities, and honestly, it’s pretty funny. It’s like Swiggy is saying, “We know it’s crazy, but we’ve got you.” But here’s the question—does this kind of ‘cringe’ marketing actually work? Some people love it, others, not so much. For me, it’s a bold move that definitely grabs attention. What do you think—did Swiggy hit the mark, or is it a bit much? Let’s chat! #Marketing #Swiggy #AdCampaign #GroupOrders #InfluencerMarketing #DigitalMarketing #BrandStrategy #ContentCreation #ViralMarketing #CustomerExperience #Advertising #SocialMediaMarketing #CreativeMarketing

"A Great Idea, but Where’s My Balloon?" Like many of you, I was excited to see all the buzz around Swiggy’s creative 10th birthday campaign. I eagerly picked up my newspaper this morning, looking forward to the surprise that everyone’s been raving about. But when I opened it… no envelope,no balloon, no gift. Just the usual pages. It’s a brilliant marketing idea—no doubt about it. But here’s the catch , when that clever touch doesn’t make it to the end user, it can backfire. Instead of delight, it leaves a sense of disappointment. What was meant to be a positive brand interaction can quickly turn sour. As someone passionate about Marketing, this experience is a reminder of a crucial point ,no matter how great the idea, if it doesn’t reach the customer as intended, it can hurt more than help. The last mile matters, and when it fails, even the best campaigns can have the opposite effect. It’s something we should all remember in marketing .After all, execution is everything. What do you think? Have you ever experienced a great idea that missed the mark? P.S. The envelope was missing from my newspaper, likely lost in transit through the many hands it passed. It’s a reminder for companies to consider every link in the chain to ensure their surprises aren’t lost along the way. #ExecutionMatters #CustomerExperience #Swiggy #Marketing #MarketingCampaign #Branding #Innovation #LastMileDelivery #SwiggyBirthdayCampaign

Meme Culture in Marketing: A Double-Edged Sword The Swiggy meme campaign, while initially captivating, highlights the double-edged sword of meme culture in marketing. While memes can provide a quick burst of engagement and humor, they can also dilute a brand's message and make it difficult to stand out in the long run. The campaign's focus on individual personalities over the brand's core value proposition may have limited its long-term impact. Brands must carefully balance the use of memes with a clear and consistent brand identity to ensure lasting engagement.
Swiggy's new campaign taps into a "multiverse of memes" to promote its group ordering feature. Does meme-driven marketing still resonate, or is its impact fading? Swipe to know more! “You have to tell a story before you can sell a story” I recently discovered a very engaging #marketing and #branding activity by Urban Company in collaboration with Swiggy’s Instamart. The right place and time to target is the key route to an engaging all-in-one marketing strategy. #leadgeneration and #sales becomes a recurring by-product.

What would you do if you accidentally ordered a groom instead of a broom and received one in an instant? In this humorous ad, Swiggy Instamart showcases their lightning-fast customer service by hilariously depicting a scenario where they kidnap a groom right at his wedding. When used effectively, humor can help consumers remember an ad, product, or brand for a long time. However, poorly executed humor can harm a brand's reputation. It's essential to know what resonates with your audience and how to use humor appropriately. By the way, I know some brands in a particular country where you can mistakenly order a bride and confidently return three days later to make corrections because even if you placed the right order, customer service might still take five days to respond. So, over here, we don’t panic. Your order is not on its way. #thatadslover #crazyoverads #advertising #marketing #brandstorytelling

I know I am a week late to join this conversation but the recent full pager Swiggy ad, flipped me to another level! A simple idea with a brilliant execution can do wonders. I mean come on, the headline - ‘Read this ad with your nose’ with a bunch of beautiful ripe mangoes. And hear me out - it’s mango scented! Of course there have been such sensory ads in the past but this is just a master stroke! Swiggy just take my money already. With ads like these that ‘don’t feel like an ad’ has managed to become a core memory for me personally. Have you come across such an ad? Do let me know!
