Cheers to the hard work and commitment of our ATC board and a big thank you to the local leaders who guide our ecosystem by serving other nonprofits. A community’s success is built on the dedication of civic-minded leaders willing to serve. Volunteers who step up are essential to the success of tech organizations and are at the heart of the Austin tech community. These dedicated individuals are the backbone of our region’s future, giving their time to help shape tomorrow. Thank you to each board member for your dedication to shaping our mission and helping us build a bright future together. ATC is just getting started. While we are a 32-year-old organization, we are constantly seeking fresh ways to ensure our community thrives as we continue to grow and evolve. We welcome leaders from all corners to join us—our community will only thrive with more voices being heard. The goal for everyone in a tech innovation center is to support and champion the growth of tech companies. Austin is a place where tech is being created to impact the world, and it’s crucial that we stay focused on this mission. ATC, along with other local business groups, is a grassroots organization, meaning we seek input from all aspects of the community. We are a community group first and a membership group second. This means everyone is welcome to attend our events and contribute to the dialogue within our tech ecosystem. We are looking for forward-thinking tech companies that want to lend their voices to shaping the future. When you help others win, we all win. #austin #austintech #helpotherswin

In the ever-evolving world of technology, it’s easy to get caught up in the latest trends and innovations. But let’s not forget the systems that have been the backbone of our operations for years. 🎵 “Don’t you forget about me, don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t” 🎵 Modernizing old tech systems isn’t just about staying current; it’s about recognizing the value and potential of what we already have. By updating and integrating these legacy systems, we can ensure they continue to serve us well into the future. 🌩 ⏳ So, as we move forward, let’s remember to bring our trusted systems along for the ride. After all, 🎶 “Will you recognize me? Call my name or walk on by?” 🎶 Tipping my hat 🎩 to the work Atari 🕹 has been doing making old computer systems work for the modern era. #TechTransformation #LegacySystems #Innovation #DigitalTransformation #Retrogaming If you are looking to update your old tech systems, be sure to connect. We are going to be doing some amazing demos at #gartnersym this year.

Funding Strategist | Expert Consultant | International Community Builder | Moderator | Event Curator
In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, it's alarming that 45% of underserved communities in the United States lack access to essential tech resources. Despite the promising presence of approximately 30,000 certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women Business Enterprises (WBEs), many of these businesses grapple with inadequate access to the support and resources they need to thrive. Even as the Small Business Administration (SBA) strives to expand access, there's a crucial missing piece: technical assistance. Furthermore, recent data reveals that over the past five years, HUBs and WBEs have received significantly less funding than the allocations from federal government contracts. This data is one of the primary reasons that I started NPI Consulting House and began the journey of disrupting the funding industry. Creating equitable access to resources that educate, elevate, and empower businesses and communities is not only a professional mission but a personal purpose that I find myself living everyday. Over the past week of #SXSW I have had many conversations around disrupting the funding industry. Whether is was educating businesses on accessing funding beyond VCs and investors, reminding larger institutions that there is federal funding that can support their goals, or encouraging businesses to expand their portfolio by becoming funding ready. If you are a business with a growth mindset, let's connect! ✨
