Accept this fact: Some deals you simply cannot win. We recently bought four power dialer seats, a five figure annual investment. We trialed the two leading providers, receiving identical prices and terms from both. But I knew the VP of Sales at one company through a mutual LinkedIn connection. He ensured we got the best deal from the first call. And he's from my community. As good as the other dialer was, it stood no chance. The personal connection was simply too strong.
