20th NOVEMBER 2024, 3.00PM Safety performance with our contractor Contractors play a vital role in industry today, and their importance continues to grow. While safety culture is frequently mentioned being a concern, businesses are increasingly aware of other factors that can affect safety with our contractors, such as preparation, experience, language barriers, timing, and budget constraints. The safety performance of contractors directly impacts critical aspects of a business, including cost, schedule and reputation. In this session, we will explore the contractor management process (qualification, selection, contracting, induction, execution) and discuss how companies address safety at each stage. Participants are encouraged to share their approaches to overcoming challenges, and together, we will identify ways to enhance safe execution at every phase of the contractor lifecycle.
