Hey, I'm Billy Idzhar, and this is Buka Project’s Journey! Building Buka Project has been an incredible rollercoaster. What started as a small Production House focusing on photography and videography back in 2019, has now grown into a full-blown creative agency serving not only Bogor, but brands from all over Indonesia. For me, it all began in 2015, when I was just a fashion photographer hustling between Bandung and Jakarta. Eventually, I noticed that in Bogor, there was a lack of creative agencies that could truly help brands thrive in both strategy and visual identity. That’s when I realized: why not build one? So, in 2019, Buka Project was born. Over these four years, I’ve faced ups and downs—challenging clients, evolving trends, and building a solid team from the ground up. There were moments I questioned everything, but one thing I never doubted was the talent and creativity of my team. From helping brands develop their social media presence to running complex campaigns and crafting stunning visual content, we’ve helped brands not just be seen, but truly stand out. This journey has been about more than just work—it’s been about creating more. More value, more success, and more opportunities for brands and my team.
