❓Remediation Acceleration Plan: Are We Ready for the Challenge❓
The UK government has issued a clear ultimatum: under the new Remediation Acceleration Plan, all buildings over 18 metres tall must start recladding works by 2027, with a target to make all at-risk buildings safe by 2029.
Additionally, owners of buildings over 11 metres with flammable cladding must complete remediation works or set a completion date to avoid severe penalties.
🏗️ The task ahead is monumental, requiring collaboration across developers, contractors, engineers, and policymakers. Ensuring every tall building meets safety standards is not just a regulatory challenge - it’s a moral obligation to protect lives and communities 🏗️
