Adani Green Energy has become the first Indian company to reach over 10,000 MW of renewable energy capacity. The company said the achievement was made possible with the commissioning of 2,000 MW of solar capacity at the Khavda solar park in Gujarat. Now, the company has an operating portfolio of 10,934 MW, making it the largest in India. This portfolio includes 7,393 MW of solar, 1,401 MW of wind, and 2,140 MW of wind-solar hybrid capacity. It aims to expand its renewable energy capacity to 45 GW by 2030. Notably, The operational portfolio is expected to power more than 5.8 million homes and avoid about 21 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) has successfully allocated 500 MW of hybrid wind-solar projects at an average price of INR 3.36 ($0.040) per kWh. KP Group Green Energy emerged as a significant player, winning a 50 MW capacity by quoting the lowest tariff of INR 3.33 per kWh. Juniper Green Energy secured a 120 MW capacity at INR 3.34 per kWh. The remaining 330 MW was allocated to JSW Energy Ltd and Hinduja Renewables, each securing 180 MW and 150 MW respectively, at a price of INR 3.39 per kWh. There are most beneficial and alternative investment for CO2 emissions and energy. The same invested amount can fetch healthy returns with the 100 percent avoidance of Green House Gas and truly saving 14 percent energy currently consumed. The alternative investment for saving out of 14 percent directly consumed energy and saving out of 39 to 42 percent Green House Gas emissions involved in constructions sectors. As an alternative investment, the same amount can be invested in Net-Zero real estate projects that includes Net Zero buildings, Energy and water. Further, it is achieving 8 goals of G20. The entire project would be technically and scientifically Net-Zero. Further, the Global ESG investors eyes on 24 Trillion Real estate emerging market by 2030. The more such funds waiting for Net Zero projects. Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (#SECI) has released the list of winners for tranche 2 (Envelope-2 opening) of the #electrolyser manufacturing auction, having a total capacity of 1,500 MW. The projects will be developed under the strategic interventions for #greenhydrogen transition (SIGHT) scheme. A total of thirteen companies have won under three different buckets. The largest category is bucket 1 with 1,100 MW of electrolyser manufacturing capacity based on any stack technology. In this bucket, #Waaree Energies secured 300 MW, followed by Matrix Gas and Renewables at 237 MW, and #Advait Infratech at 200 MW. The remaining winners in this bucket were #Ohmium Operations with 137 MW, GH2 Solar with 105 MW, #Newage Green Electro with 71.5 MW, and #Avaada Electrolyser with 49.5 MW. In bucket 2B (based on indigenously developed stack technology-smaller units), the maximum capacity awarded was 100 MW. Of this, #Adani Enterprises, Eastern Electrolyser, and #Newtrace, were awarded 30 MW each, while Suryaashish KA1 Solar Park was awarded 10 MW. Meanwhile, Adani Enterprises was awarded 71.5 MW, with Newage Green Electro bagging 228.5 MW in bucket 2A (electrolyser manufacturing capacity based on indigenously developed stack technology). The total capacity for this bucket was 300 MW. In August 2024, SECI had put out a Call for Proposals for setting up green hydrogen hubs in India under the #NationalGreenHydrogenMission. In the same month, they issued a tender to appoint an agency to lease or purchase 800 acres of land in Madhya Pradesh for a 200 MW solar project.

Renewable energy will significantly impact job creation by generating more employment opportunities compared to fossil fuels, very much inline with the budget aspirations of increasing employment as well. For instance, investing in renewable energies creates nearly three times more jobs than fossil fuels. Additionally, the renewable energy transition is expected to increase worldwide employment in this sector to more than 38 million by 2030. This growth spans various renewable sources, including solar, wind, and biofuels, offering diverse job opportunities in the green economy.
