🌍 Just shared our insights at the ISPI - Istituto per gli Studi di Politica Internazionale Migration Forum. One key message emerged: successful migration isn't just about mobility - it's about comprehensive integration.
📊 The numbers tell a compelling story: Europe's working-age population will decline 14% by 2050, while the world will see 1.2 billion young people enter the workforce in just the next decade. With only 420 million jobs projected, we're facing both a challenge and an opportunity.
🤝 Through our Global Skills Partnership pilot in Tunisia, we're learning crucial lessons:
Establishing pathways for Tunisian youth to access training opportunities locally and secure employment in both Tunisia and Italy.
Ensuring skilled workforce development benefits both origin and destination countries
⭐ Most importantly: Understanding that success requires addressing BOTH mobility AND integration challenges simultaneously
Our experience shows three critical requirements, with integration at the heart:
🔄 Streamlined processes and systems to close the gap between opportunity identification and placement
🌐 Evolution from bilateral arrangements to multilateral platforms (we've already mobilized $2.4B through the World Bank Window for Host Communities and Refugees)
🔑 Co-investment in comprehensive integration systems is key. Even when workers successfully arrive, destination countries often struggle to integrate them effectively into their labor markets, educational systems, and social services.
⏰ The demographic clock is ticking. While we perfect our approach, we must act now.
But let's be clear: managed migration pathways only work when paired with robust integration mechanisms. This isn't just about moving people - it's about building inclusive, sustainable communities. 💪

We are proud to announce that Promec won the award for best technological innovation of the Djaz'Innov 2024 competition, during Djazagro exhibition in Algeri! 🎖
The jury of the Djaz'Innov 2024 had to examine all the participating companies from 10 countries and among these Promec won the special prize by presenting the new ULTRACLEAN volumetric filler with glued base!
We have developed this system together with the University of Parma, with which we have been collaborating for more than 25 years, creating a machine composed of a reticular base made up of pressure joints and components connected to each other by structural gluing, thus eliminating any welding or processing by machine tools (system patented by Promec).
This innovation was so appreciated that it was also published by the prestigious scientific journal MDPI.
Specifically developed to increase the hygienic conditions in the filling area, it enables, with greater safety, a wide range of all those products considered more sensitive:
- Milk & milk based products.
- Juices, teas, isotonics
- Low carbonated soft drinks
- Non-alcoholic beer
Our machine differs from traditional ones due to the following innovations:
- Innovative design based on a lattice structure solution (patented system)
- Light weight and greater stiffness
- Increased modularity
- Open design made of full stainless steel.
- Very limited and self-draining top surfaces
- Easy cleanability and no residual of product
- Improved accessibility
- Facilitated cleaning, maintenance, change-over.
