We’ve officially been back in the office for a few days now! 👋 After a well-deserved break, we’re feeling recharged and ready for a great year ahead. There’s a lot for us to look forward to this year, with some exciting new projects in the works. But most importantly, we’re ready to get back to doing what we do best: delivering great work that helps our clients achieve their goals. We hope you all had a lovely break and are as excited for 2025 as we are!

How’s your first “proper” week back in 2025 going? For me, this week has felt refreshingly different from previous years in the contact centre world. In the past, this first week back often felt like a false start. People were easing back from extended annual leave, calendars were chaotic, meetings were frequently rescheduled, and overall momentum took time to build as everyone “warmed up” to the new year. But this year feels different—in a great way. We’ve hit the ground running: - Wrapping up end-of-year reviews efficiently, - Resuming the rigour and cadence of high-performing teams with strong engagement (mentally and physically!), and - Staying on track to finalise our goals and objectives for 2025. We’re also celebrating success early. Through Opstanding, our R&R framework, we’ve been recognising and rewarding exceptional performance, and there’s a real sense of control and clarity. This isn’t about celebrating busyness, burnout, or just keeping busy for its own sake, It’s about focused, high-impact performance, great leadership, and a thriving culture—and I’m proud of what we’re building! Yesterday was my first (official) day back in the office after maternity leave! I started the day with a head full of ideas, eager to dive into upcoming projects and new ventures. But as the day unfolded, I found myself feeling a bit overwhelmed. With so much to tackle, it felt like I was making little dents everywhere but not moving the needle on anything significant. I already had my goals and priorities for this quarter laid out in Bloom Growth™ (if you haven't checked them out yet, do it!) but I still felt a bit unfocused. I decided to go for a walk to clear my head, and sort inspiration in 'Will It Make The Boat Go Faster' by Ben Hunt-Davis MBE and Harriet Beveridge. Here's what I discovered: When I'm in 'Mum-mode,' everything feels like a priority, and needs to be tackled 𝐧𝐨𝐰! But running my business requires a different approach. If everything is a priority, then nothing is. I took a step back and shifted my focus from quarterly goals to just September priorities. Then, I broke it down further into weeks and days. Throughout this process, I kept asking myself, “but will this make the boat go faster?”. If it doesn’t bring me closer to my goals, it’s not getting done - at least not right now! 🚀 Midweek Momentum: The Bank Holiday Hustle! 🚀 Hello LinkedIn family! Here we are again—Hump Day has arrived, and despite the recent Bank Holiday, it feels like the week hasn't missed a beat. Isn't it curious how these shorter weeks often seem to demand the intensity of a full five days’ work crammed into four? I spent the extended weekend deep in the trenches at our Brentwood depot, catching up and prepping for numerous new site launches. There’s no rest for the driven! Today finds me back at the mothership—Jangro Ltd HQ in Bolton, right next to the buzzing Toughsheet Community Stadium. A quick shoutout to Bolton Wanderers for clinching a spot in the Play-off finals—what an electrifying atmosphere here! I’m in Bolton for our regular Group Development committee meeting, where we plot the future growth of Jangro. We’re brewing some exciting developments in the background, and I can’t wait to share them with you all. Later tonight, I'll be heading south to Shrewsbury, gearing up for an early morning rendezvous with Chris Martin at CMYKUK to explore some nifty new printers for our production team. Always on the lookout for tech that boosts our efficiency and creativity! And speaking of tech, I'm eagerly anticipating next week's adventure at Interclean Amsterdam. It promises to be a whirlwind of meetings, reconnecting with old friends, forging new partnerships, and diving into the latest industry tech and products.
