These innovative nanorobots remain dormant until activated by the acidic microenvironment typically found in solid tumors, ensuring the protection of healthy cells. Upon activation, cell-killing peptides are released, leading to a remarkable 𝟕𝟎% 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐮𝐦𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 in mice with breast cancer compared to those given an inactive version of the nanorobot. The study analyzed the safety and effectiveness of a modified protocol combining pembrolizumab with dose-dense doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide in treating early-stage triple-negative breast cancer. Results showed a higher pathologic complete response rate with the modified protocol, and no serious adverse events related to pembrolizumab were reported. The findings suggest that this approach could be a promising treatment option for this patient population, although larger studies are needed for further evaluation. #BreastCancer #Immunotherapy #Biohacking #HealthResearch #TreatmentOptimization Read more here: https://lnkd.in/e58Tn-aD BioMedHack.com is your leading source for the latest news, breakthroughs, and insights in medicine, biohacking, and alternative medicine.
