Dear network, I would like to add some thoughts on Mohammad Golzar's emotional story below. I sometimes get asked why I started founding companies – especially at an age when others begin to think about retirement (hello #agediscrimination?). Well, the answer is very simple: nothing provides me greater satisfaction than #valuecreation. Value creation has many dimensions. Yes of course, our product Xentara adds tremendous value to our industrial customers on their way to #smartmachines and #selfoptimizingfactories. Eventually, Xentara will generate (financial) value to our investors, shareholders and the entire team. Equally, if not more important to me however is value creation in or for human beings. I am very happy when I see individuals and the entire team growing with the mastery of everyday #challenges and #learnings. Mohammad left his home country, his family, his friends and he took on all those hardships because he wanted to allow his daughter to live a life in #freedom and #peace. The thought that we as Team Xentara have contributed our share in enabling this better life for the 9-year-old girl gives me goosebumps. While Mohammad is from Iran 🇮🇷, we have other colleagues from Israel 🇮🇱, China 🇨🇳, India 🇮🇳, Pakistan 🇵🇰, Bangladesh 🇧🇩, Russia 🇷🇺, Hungary 🇭🇺, Greece 🇬🇷, Canada 🇨🇦 (and yes, also some Germans 🇩🇪). So, the majority of current geopolitical conflicts is represented in our little team. Yet there is no fighting, no hate, no discrimination. We simply collaborate to develop and deliver the best #nextgeneration industrial #convergence and #control platform. Welcome Mohammad and family, let’s continue to make the world a #betterplace – even beyond the industrial sector 😉
Dear world, last Friday was a tremendously joyous occasion for Team #Xentara. Not only did we welcome back Mohammad Golzar after a well-deserved long vacation, but he also brought his wife and daughter! For one and a half years Mohammad had been living alone in Germany, trying to get the necessary paperwork and red tape in order to finally be reunited with his family who were still living in Iran. We were ecstatic when we received the news and decided to send a small delegation to pick them up at Munich Airport ✈️, and maybe - maybe - even some manly tears were shed 😉 Please congratulate Mohammad and take a moment to celebrate with us 🥳

🌍 Today, I'm captivated by the unfolding story of Noraly, known as "Itchy Boots" on YouTube. This daring solo traveller has journeyed over 140,000 kilometres around the globe 🌏 and her latest adventure has brought her to Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. 🇨🇮 Here's her latest episode: https://lnkd.in/d-a9amxF. In this video, Noraly faces a significant hurdle - a complete breakdown of her trusty Honda. 🏍️ As the local mechanics dismantled the engine, she found herself questioning - would they manage to fix it? 💭 As an immigrant in Europe, I resonate with this feeling of uncertainty. But here's the lesson I draw from Noraly's story and my own experiences. Despite facing challenges and often being underestimated, we must remember our values. 💪 Yes, Africa might not have as many high-standard universities compared to other continents. But that doesn't undermine our potential or capabilities. 🌟 We're as competent as anyone else globally, given the right opportunities and training. Noraly's story is a reminder that we should not limit ourselves. No matter where we are, who we are, or what tools we have, with the right skills, mindset, and willingness to learn, we can solve problems and achieve greatness. ✨ #Resilience #Opportunity #Learning #GrowthMindset

The EU fund CEF (Connecting Europe Facility) has chosen Eleport to receive 14M€ to invest into EV-Charging infrastructure in the Baltics (🇪🇪, 🇱🇻, 🇱🇹) and Poland (🇵🇱). Just to clarify, this covers only a small fraction of infrastructure investments that Eleport is going to undertake in the upcoming years ⚡⚡⚡⚡

My goal, that in a couple of years I will be able to drive from Tallinn to Berlin using only Eleport chargers, just became more realistic. Eleport will receive nearly 14 MEUR 💪 from the Connecting Europe Facility to build ultra-fast charging points along the main roads in the Baltics and Poland. This is one of the largest support for charging infrastructure developers in our region. Very proud of the whole team who made this possible! NB! Today you can drive from Tallinn to about Kaunas using Eleport chargers🤘 EST below Minu eesmärk, et paari aasta pärast saab Tallinnast Berliini sõita ainult Eleporti laadijaid kasutades, sai just reaalsemaks. Eleport saab Euroopa ühendamise rahastult (Connecting Europe Facility) ligi 14 MEUR 💪, et välja ehitada ülikiireid laadimispunkte põhiliste maanteede ääres Baltikumis ja Poolas. See on meie regiooni suurim toetus laadimistaristu arendajatele. Väga uhke kogu tiimi üle, tänu kellele see võimalikuks sai! NB! Täna saab Eleporti laadijaid kasutades Tallinnast umbes Kaunaseni sõita🤘 #poweringthechange #eleport

THE L-EVATE PROJECT - I run an online mindset coaching course, designed to expose you to different tools and insights which are proven to level up not just your fitness life, but your work life too.
Don’t be an ostrich. Last weekend I headed to Madrid to compete in a Hyrox event. A very challenging race where you run 1km intervals in between stations that are made to burn your lungs, your legs and your arms. There is no hiding away from discomfort here. One reason why I compete in all of these sort of events is because it’s a chance to face discomfort head on. I don’t hide away from discomfort, like an ostrich. I don’t bury my head in the sand. This applies to everything. Don’t hide away from tough conversations. Don’t hide away from challenges at work. Don’t hide away from taking that risk. “Not facing the uncomfortable truth today, will lead you to face an uncomfortable future” #discomfort #challengeyourself #taketheleap
