Seeing far too many people spouting “this is why read-only Friday" or “never deploy on Fridays” after this CrowdStrike thing, and the only sensible response feels like "STFU - this would have caused an outage on any day of the week." If you're afraid to roll out new software on a Friday, you’re afraid to roll out new software at any time, and you should fix *that* before releasing your shiny new features. Make deployments a non-event. Make it so that someone can push new code at 4am on a Sunday morning if that's how they feel. But grow up and stop thinking there's something special or scary about Fridays #ReadOnlyFriday #CrowdStrike

Major Windows Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) issue takes banks, airlines, and broadcasters offline! 𝐓𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐱 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐝𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐞/𝐁𝐒𝐎𝐃 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞: 1. Boot Windows into Safe Mode or the Windows Recovery Environment 2. Navigate to the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike directory 3. Locate the file matching "C-00000291*.sys", and delete it 4.
