This was one of my most interesting takeaways from Europe 250 research. On which markets see international PE investor interest vs. which markets are more local? The data is clear. UK & Ireland stood out as the most internationalized region in terms of investor interest, with 55% of EV in the region owned by North American and RoW sponsors. 👉 Some of the big international PE investors in the UK market include GIC, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, and KKR. On the other hand, regions such as CEE, Nordics and France are the least penetrated by international investors, which can be explained by the mix of the strong position of domestic investors (e.g. France) and more limited investor interest in other regions (e.g. CEE). 👉 Some big Nordic and French investors on the list include Ardian, Bpifrance and EQT. #privateequity #buyout #gainpro #insights

Very interesting to read a summary of the deals we worked on in FY23, where despite the headwinds we supported clients on numerous complex transactions. Looking forward to be starting 2024!

We faced some challenges in securing a profitable collaborative deals with both new and our existing brokers. We made our decision to stick with trading and it has proven to be our best move yet. When we started, the situation was chaotic, with many people uncertain about our future. (Many people jump in and jump out ) However, I remained confident that our approach would succeed. I encouraged a few committed individuals to stay and work on refining our trading model. Our persistence is paying off. We’ve received numerous deals beyond our expectations, and significant companies are now approaching us for trading partnerships. Through this journey, we’ve gained valuable insights and developed sophisticated trading strategies. One of our key innovations is a strategy designed to ensure that we don’t just trade but actually make money. This has become a cornerstone of our success and sets us apart in the competitive trading landscape.
