Cyber Security Awareness Training is an essential element contributing to the effectiveness of cyber security frameworks {e.g. NIST Special Publication 800-53: Awareness & Training (AT), ISO 27001 control A.7.2.2 and PCIDSS Requirement 12}. Threat actors, when compromising or stealing targeted assets, not only exploit vulnerabilities in the digital ecosystem, but also exploit vulnerabilities in the human mind, which remains cyber security’s weakest link. The potential cyber threat surface in a digital ecosystem is readily identifiable and hence manageable with a well-defined and well-implemented cybersecurity policy, but the cyber threat surface stemming from vulnerabilities of the human mind is limitless.    #cybersecurityawarenesstraining is thus more than a compliance requirement; it serves as a crucial risk management tool when integrated with your organisation's HR policy.
