It’s Not Just What You Say—It’s How You Say It 🧠⚖️
We all know that words matter, but how you say them can be just as important, if not more so. The tone, intonation, and rhythm of our speech can completely change the way our message is received. Think about it: the same sentence can express excitement, frustration, or confusion depending on the tone you use.
As someone who’s spent time advocating in courtrooms and negotiating in property deals, I’ve learned that mastering the how of communication is just as crucial as mastering the what. The Thought Barrister mindset teaches us to be mindful of how we deliver our message—whether we’re projecting confidence, calmness, or urgency.
Take a moment to think about the way you say things. Does your intonation match your message? How might adjusting your tone shift the impact of your words?
