Being an introvert is often seen as a con in corporate but I find them to be the best people to work with! Relatively introverted managers and peers share some of the best traits I’ve seen: ➡️ They are the most efficient workers - less talk and more work! ➡️They aren’t interested in office gossip and don’t engage in toxic conversations ➡️ They don’t need constant company and are very well by themselves ➡️ They can be the most fun people to hang out with once they’ve opened up to you ➡️ They have a very underrated sense of humour - possibly the funniest folks if you know them well! Despite the entire charade of visibility and being out there in corporate still stands - being an introvert isn’t a shortcoming, Trust me, yall are a blessing - ever so refreshing!
Also, introverts are often slow decision makers. And that's good!
Cheers to all the introverts out there! While we don't hear you talk the walk, we know the footprints your quality work leaves behind. 💯
Feels like u met real introverts not who just claim they are introverts on social platforms these days Vikramaditya Kumar Taneja
I am an introvert (trying not to be nowadays). Introverts are simple, honest, direct, very straight-forward and won't beat around the bush. They are true to their inner feelings. Often has difficulty - to keep their mouth-shut (for long) when something wrong is happening around and - to tell lies (when needed) due to limited social surroundings and feeling of guilt. Extroverts (I know few, though can't generalize all though in this feedback) are very polished speakers and sweet tongued. They adapt and behave based on their surroundings. Often they - keep silence when things are wrong around (to prevent harm inflicted on them) and - the words they tell are NOT what they mean truely and always get away with their flattering sentences. Introverts are mostly techies (true to their findings in design/architecture and fixing issues which otherwise won't work with machines) and Extroverts are mostly on management side (as they excel in knowing when, what and how to talk to people/clients and please their seniors by flattery).
But mostly what I see is that the people who work less and talk more get all the promotions!
This feels so validating, especially living as an introvert in a world built for extroverts is really something!
This introvert thing has always kept me in constant self doubt. Sensing it this way gives confidence.
It's important to remember that introversion isn't a weakness, but rather a valuable trait in the workplace.
Once stepped into corporate world everyone becomes introvert that would be the best practice to save yourself from backstabbers 😀
