I’ve always drawn a lot of energy from seeing people use and share the apps I’ve created. There’s something magical about watching ‘your creation’ come to life. 🪄 But how do we get more people to use our apps? Many believe that adding more features will automatically attract more users because it's ‘better’, right? Well, not always. Someone once told me: “User experience is more important than your mother.” It’s a bit exaggerated, but he made a good point. If users struggle to get things done, they'll leave, and it's extremely hard to win them back. That’s why I wrote this blog with 9 tips to help you make more user-friendly apps! I would love to get your feedback on it and that you share tips too. ➡ Blog: https://lnkd.in/ecUbV6Cn

Anande Bergman, I recently realized one of the major roadblock with adoption... Too steeper starting steps for the user (steeper learning curves) All of a sudden I realized the beauty of `Wizard`. You are more likely to succeed, irrespective of the number of steps, as long as 1. each step is simpler and easier to take 2. someone guides you through the steps On the contrary, if the design has fewer but more complicated steps, you are more likely to give up at step #1

Great tips Anande Bergman. I couldn't agree more on progress bars. I would also recommend a built-in functionality to bulk calculate and/or bulk generate for VIKTOR platform (if not already present).

Absolutely agree with your emphasis on user experience! One additional insight I'd like to share is the importance of continuous user feedback loops. Engaging with your users through surveys, beta testing, and user interviews can provide invaluable insights into their needs and pain points. Looking forward to reading your blog!
