Munchie MK2 is still in the works, and yes, it’s taking longer than expected. Balancing a full-time job with building and filming means progress happens in those precious few hours after work. And my workshop? Let’s just say it’s not helping. Tools everywhere, parts I can’t find—it’s chaos. But I’m pushing through because Munchie comes first. Hello and welcome to a new week at Stogl Robotics! 🤩 🎉 The hot summer officially started last Friday: one of our new projects for this summer had its kick-off. 🦾 We have to look for suitable hardware and find a suitable manufacturer 🦾 The team is starting to build the digital twin in the background and set up all the functionalities. For us, this is pretty much independent of the hardware. 🚌 Project regarding trajectory generation for a special vehicle for tunnel construction: we will carry out tests on the hardware and generate the first demos for the customer. 🤖 Final stages of another project: control for a mobile robot. It's about optimizing the whole navigation deck: we're using rather unconventional sensors and methods to do all the navigation and localization, so we still need to optimize it further. 💾 Control Box: we have further orders for the regulation of KUKA cells with our Control Box, which we also want to deliver by the end of the month or deliver the first version to customers so that they can easily test their scenarios with our Control Box. Did you know?... Yushin started in a small space at the end of a narrow entryway that was 13 m long and just over 1 m wide. Commonly called “eel’s nests,” these types of spaces were common in old Kyoto. The layout meant that our machines had to be disassembled to fit out the door, then reassembled on a truck waiting on the street outside before they could be shipped!
