How are there no comments yet?! C'mon people! I have heard multiple folks recently refer to EVs and the EV charging industry as the wild west. We need more guidance and standards from trusted & reputable sources, and not just hope and pray that those deploying infrastructure in this space will follow best practices and not cut corners. We need to lobby for updated zoning regulations and expedited permitting and review processes. We need industry and consumer outreach and education. EVITP is a start, but the curriculum doesn't look as robust as we collectively need it to be and why it is only open to licensed electricians? This is scratching the surface and I am hoping others chime in.
