As a former Clinical member of staff for the NHS, it was all too easy to get overwhelmed with the politics and red tape behind it.
Remember Surgeons, Doctors, Nurses and all non clinical staff deserve our appreciation in what can sometimes be a very unforgiving role.
The rewards are immense but the toll on their mental health can be tragic.
Lets support our NHS, and support the recruitment of more Doctors and Nurses.
Certainly! Supporting the NHS is commendable, and there are several ways you can show your appreciation and help:
Social Media: Post on NHS social media pages, comment, and share their posts to demonstrate public support1.
Compliments: Leave online compliments for NHS workers directly with friendly messages.
Letters: Write letters of appreciation to NHS staff.
Weekly Applause: Clap during weekly applause events to honour healthcare workers.
Rainbow Art: Make and share rainbow art as a symbol of gratitude.
Small Gifts: Consider giving small gifts to NHS staff.
Inquire with Hospitals: Call hospitals and ask what specific items or support they need.
Donations: If possible, donate money to NHS charities1.
Remember, every little gesture counts! 🌈👏💙 More info | Volunteering opportunities | Confidential text support
