The 5th GoGreen Consortium meeting took place over two days online. Work Package Leaders and Young Researchers presented their updates and discussions with the entire team ranged from approaches to education - exploring a train the trainers approach - to accessiblity of greener materials solutions - with a focus on the innovative delivery system using electrospun tissue. Program participants were joined by our international team of experts to weigh in on greenness, change management and impact, scientific assessment and overall project cohesion (it's amazing how so many different elements come together so nicely!). These meetings are usually held in person - but to address and reduce our carbon footprint, GoGreen has elected to host interim consortium meetings online. Want to know more? Back on #UniBo campus for a #DesignThinking lab in collaboration with Gruppo Hera Last week, we had the pleasure of meeting Salvo Mole’, Innovation Director, and his team. We explored the different sectors Hera is involved in and gained an overview of its business model and strategies. The session concluded with the launch of a series of community-focused challenges aimed to encourage residents to improve their waste sorting practices and boost the current separate waste collection (SWC) rate. Inobiostar has secured a 💸 €2.3 million grant from the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator! 🇪🇺  This achievement follows a year-long, thorough three-step evaluation process: first, a short proposal review; then, a full proposal evaluation; and finally, an interview in Brussels. 🇧🇪 Successfully passing this rigorous selection process ensures that only the most promising innovations, like our InnoAerogel technology, receive this prestigious grant.
