Private engineering colleges see a 50-70% drop in placements! IT Companies - usually the leading campus recruiters - had gone heavy on hiring over the last two years, expecting good growth. But they are now rethinking their plans amid a slowdown in client spending. Hiring for the other engineering streams is either flat or low. The condition is not just for Tier 3 Engineering Colleges but also for prestigious colleges of our country. But how did this happen? >After COVID, companies thought there would be good growth in the upcoming years. >They hired more people than required. >Growth didn't happen. Now, they already have people and don't want to hire more. This is where luck plays a role. Students prepared hard for their JEE. Worked hard for 4/5 years in college. Only to remain unemployed due to macroeconomic factors :( #india #hiring #economy #brand #salary #business #IT #computerscience #aiautomation
