Not every misstep needs escalation, and not every negative moment defines the whole. But how we handle these moments reflects the true strength of our values and how deeply we care. During my recent trip through Europe, extended from our exhibition time at Franco Tech event in Paris, I found myself repeating one phrase over and over: “There’s always something.” Every day brought unexpected twists—bus detours, train cancellations, restaurant closures, markets shut down. No matter how well we planned, something always came up to shake things up. And honestly, that made the trip chaotic but also exciting! When I look back at our journey with Tenbox📦 I see a similar pattern. The future of UK innovation isn’t just happening in London—there are some innovating startups popping up throughout the UK. 🏙 London continues to lead as the UK's innovation hub for young entrepreneurs. In 2023, 62% of our Uth innovators (Under30s & Under35s) — that's 117 out of 190 founders — are based in the capital. Among these, 19 are Unicorn founders 🦄, solidifying London’s reputation as a hotspot for high-impact ventures. But innovation isn’t confined to London! The South East came in strong as the second-largest region, contributing 19 young founders to our list including U35 founder, Vishal Karia of Affinity Fragrances Limited. Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 are also producing exciting founders, with 5 and 4 respectively In Scotland, Jamie Genevieve, founder of the vegan-friendly cosmetics brand VIEVE, made our U30 list. Joining her were Roy H. and Hayden Ball, co-founders of PlayerData ⚽, revolutionising player performance tracking equipment. On the U35 list, we were proud to feature Joel W., co-founder at Rooser 🐟, a transformative force in the online fishing market. Wales is showing strong entrepreneurial spirit too! 🌟 Four young founders are making waves there, including Zoe Trigwell, founder of Trigwell Cosmetics 💄, on our U30 list. The U35 list includes Charlie Morgan and Jackson Quinn, the dynamic duo behind Au Vodka 🍸, alongside Alex Mills, founder of Dynamo Cover Limited who featured on The Apprentice.
