At this week's annual Visa Payments Forum in San Francisco, Visa announced that it is "re-inventing" the card There were seven new features announced at the Forum, the most interesting of which is probably the Visa Flexible Credential As you can see from the clip below, this allows you to make payments from one "credential" that would normally involve using multiple cards or accounts For example, you can set this single credential to use debit up to a certain payment value and credit for payments above that value You can also toggle it to "pay-in-four" or pay using reward points Visa Flexible Credential is already live in Asia and will launch in the US this summer It follows a 2022 study which found that more than half of card users want to access multiple accounts through a single credential https://lnkd.in/enSXUYcp
