🚀 Germany’s ambitious goal to have 1 million EV charge points on its roads by 2030 is taking a significant step forward, and Alfen is proud to accelerate this revolution with ubitricity, a leading charge point operator (CPO) based in Berlin and operating across Europe.
As a CPO, ubitricity is actively involved in rolling out and operating public EV charging stations in cities and municipalities, contributing significantly to Europe’s EV charging ecosystem.
For the rollout of public AC standalone chargers in Germany, ubitricity is using EV chargers from several companies, including Alfen’s PG-line. This dual socket unit with Eichrecht conformity is a smart public EV charging solution, designed for safe and efficient charging.
Like all Alfen chargers, it allows for customised design and branding opportunities, ensuring that the unit seamlessly integrates with the customer’s aesthetics and identity and abides to legislation of local governments.
ubitricity has installed Shell Recharge branded PG-lines throughout 2023 in locations like Hennigsdorf, Zossen and Falkensee, which are situated in the greater Berlin metropolitan area – supporting the typical commuting use case.
