Recently, one leader in particular pushed me to increase the rate I ask for my services. Having just finished my bachelor's degree, it was time to ask for a rate that reflected this accomplishment, my background, and my experience - but I was too timid to do it. Aaron Stratman called me out on it. He encouraged me to demand a rate that reflects my worth. His message was simple: "it's time." That push led me to higher ground.
