Vision To Learn is grateful to the S. Albert Fund and the Philadelphia Eagles Foundation for supporting The Eagles Eye Mobile Powered by Vision To Learn! The grant will support the Eagles Eye Mobile in providing vision screenings, eye exams, and glasses to children across #philadelphia through the 2024-2025 school year at no cost to the child or their family. Every child deserves the chance to see – a book, the blackboard, and their own potential. Huge thank you to the S. Albert Fund and the Philadelphia Foundation for helping children in Philadelphia succeed in school and life through better vision. #eagleseyemobile #Eagles Philadelphia Eagles #visiontolearn #childrensvision

A Summer of Sight! 👓🌞 Vision To Learn has been busy this summer break! Across 14 states and Washington D.C. we provided over 12,000 children with eye exams, and almost 10,000 with glasses. That's nearly 10,000 students who will be starting the school year without having to worry about seeing the board, including students like Talia. Talia is a 3rd grader who spent the prior school year wearing glasses that had an out-of-date prescription and no longer fit comfortably. After receiving a brand-new pair of glasses through our summer program in Georgia, Talia is ready for the start of the new school year. Here's what she had to say about getting glasses from Vision To Learn: "Thank you Vision To Learn for my new glasses. I love them because I was able to see my classroom better, and I was able to see the board better. I picked them out because they had purple, that was my favorite color, and they had my favorite designs. Thank you!" #glasses #visiontolearn #eyecare #mobileeyecare #childrensvision

During this year's Olympics Stephen Nedoroscik took the US Olympic team to new heights with an amazing pommel horse routine. He did this while having strabismus and coloboma, leaving him unable to see clearly without his glasses. In every Vision To Learn eye exam our team checks for strabismus and coloboma to ensure that either condition is caught and treated early. Our #Connecticut team will be visiting the below Hartford Public Library branches to provide children between the ages of 5 and 18 to receive an eye exams and, if necessary, glasses at no cost to the child or their family. Friday, 8/16 - Barbour Branch Monday, 8/26 - Ropkins Branch Book your appointment using this link: https://lnkd.in/gi9S_TFK #visiontolearn #mobileeyecare #childrensvision #eyecare

Want to know the impact glasses can have on your life? Ask Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Kiké Hernández. Earlier this season Hernández was struggling at the plate when it was discovered that he had an astigmatism in his right eye which made it hard for him to see the ball out of the pitcher's hand. Since getting glasses, he's been on an absolute tear and has turned his season around. Stories like this highlight the importance of programs like Vision To Learn, that provide vision screenings, eye exams, and glasses to children at no cost to the child or their family. We are excited to continue to work with our long-time partners Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation to ensure that every child is able to see clearly both on the diamond and in life. https://lnkd.in/eqsXk5cp

Vision To Learn loves the summer in Georgia! Summer break doesn't stop our work helping kids - this summer alone Vision To Learn provided over 1,900 children with eye exams, and more than 1,400 with glasses. Best of all, we had the chance to meet kids like Braxton. Braxton is a 1st grader who spent the last school year squinting in class and having trouble seeing the board. After visiting our summer program, Braxton received a brand new pair of glasses. Here's what he had to say about getting glasses from Vision To Learn: "Thank you, eye doctor! I'm not blind anymore." #georgia #eyeexams #visiontolearn #mobileeyecare
