This situation happens in many companies. Talented candidates, like interns, ask for full-time positions, but the company decides not to hire. As employees, we feel sorry we can't offer them the opportunity they deserve. Then, weeks later, the company posts about hiring new people without informing us, creating confusion and damaging trust. Imagine how those candidates feel when they see these mixed signals. There are real, talented people out there waiting for better opportunities, and I hope this can improve. Clear, internal communication is essential so we can act with integrity and ensure everyone is on the same page.

Four ways to break into the PR industry! 🚀 1. Gain relevant education and experience: Pursue a degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field. Look for internships or entry-level positions in PR agencies or in-house communication departments to gain hands-on experience. Some of the places hiring for interns are Portland, Make Honey, bp, Taylor Bennett Foundation, YAP Global Ltd, Hewlett Packard Enterprise. 2. Build a strong network: Attend industry events, join professional organizations, and network with professionals in the field. Building connections can help you learn about job opportunities, gain advice, and develop industry knowledge. The Weekly PR, Women in PR and The House of marketing and PR are great places to start. 3. Develop strong communication skills: As PR professionals, communication skills are crucial. Work on developing your writing, speaking, and interpersonal skills. You can also gain experience by creating a blog, managing social media accounts, or volunteering to create communication materials for a non-profit organisation. This gives you another string to your bow and makes you more hireable. 4.
