It's official - Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome announced the 2024 Neighborhood Convention today that will take place September 14 at the Raising Cane's River Center - ASM Global! The convention will bring together hundreds of neighborhood leaders and residents, business owners, city-parish department heads, public safety leaders, and youth from across the parish for a day of sharing tools and best practices needed to build strong, connected neighborhoods. 💡 Goals for the 2024 Neighborhood Convention include: - Equipping attendees with essential tools and info to enhance their neighborhoods - Explore innovative approaches to strengthen neighborhood identity and foster a sense of belonging among residents - Provide methods to document and celebrate the rich heritage and narratives of local communities And more!
