Tonight, I had the honor of joining Alderman Peter Burgelis, my Visit Milwaukee teammates, and incredible community leaders to present a proclamation on behalf of Mayor Cavalier Johnson, officially declaring today Luke Prokop Day in Milwaukee! As the only openly out player in the AHL, Luke’s leadership and visibility are paving the way for inclusion in professional hockey. Representation matters, and his courage is inspiring countless individuals in sports and beyond.
