Recipe of the Day: Lotus Root and Morel Mushroom Soup Ingredients: Poria 30g, Chinese yam 30g, lily of the valley 20g, morel mushrooms 3-5, cordyceps flowers 20g, lean pork or pork ribs 200g, lotus root 1 section Methods: 1. Blanch the lean pork or pork ribs in boiling water and set aside; 2. Soak the morel mushrooms in warm water for half an hour and wash, peel and slice the lotus root; 3. Wash the cordyceps flowers, yam and lily and soak for 10 minutes; 4. All materials into the stew pot, add the right amount of cooking wine, ginger a piece, pour boiling water, water stew 2.5 hours, add the right amount of salt seasoning can be consumed. #healthyfood #mushroom #mushrooms

Yebo Gogo! It’s Potjie o’clock! Chicken Fillet Sherry Potjie on the Coals. Potjie Beverage - Lion Larger Brown the diced onions & peppers in Olive oil. Add the Chicken Fillet Cubes to the pot & quickly brown. Add Old Brown Sherry to pot & bring to boil. Add Sweet Chilli Chutney to pot. Add mushrooms to pot. Add tomatoes to pot. Add teaspoon of rock salt to pot. Add teaspoon of pepper corns to pot. Add mixed herbs to pot. Let Pot simmer for 240min. Stir every 30min. Adjust lid to allow pot to thicken. Add layer of potato's to pot. Add layer of carrots to pot. Add layer of butternut to pot. Add layer of baby corn to pot. Let pot simmer for 120min. Cook a side pot of Rice. https://lnkd.in/d_v3fPUs

Do you know that Sauerbraten is considered to be Germany's national dish? Sauerbraten is a traditional German roast of heavily marinated meat and if is served in German restaurants internationally. It's mostly cooked from beef, chicken, lamb, mutton, pork and even horse. The raw meat to be used is properly marinated for 5-15 days with a mixture of vinegar or wine, water, herbs, spices and seasonings. Sauerbraten dinner is often served with potato pancakes.
