DATA CENTER-Smart Bldgs.• ELECTROMOBILITY • #SCOPE3 Sustainability Reporting • Commissioning & QA/QC • Integrative Design (to hire globally ubiquitous)
#COMMISSIONING is #PROJECT_MANAGEMENT ..? My P&PPV: one word #NO. I’d like to point out that #Commissioning sometimes is considered as #PROJECT_MANAGMENT -maybe to save money- This approach it is found very often in Data Center projects; my concern goes in this way; #IF_CxA. manage resources (TIME-TALENT-MONEY) she/he becomes an incumbent WITH BUSINESS INTERESTS. This position could easily change the QA intent of this process -not only in construction industry of course- and became in corruption scenarios. Doing in that way could seem GOOD-PRODUCTIVE-SHORTCUT even economic in budgeting but loose the perspective that #COMMISSING has been developed as a QUALITY ASSURANCE INTEGRATED process from A #THIRD_PARTY, that pursuit as main purpose to help & protect investors-end user-owners’ #INTERESTS since Conceptual Design stage started up to OPERATIONAL handover -at least- is made. #PUNCH_List a. PM could have Cx process? #YES b. CxA could commissioning PM, #NO c. CxA must report direct to Owner, #YES

Did you know, despite contract requirements, only two thirds of the services you pay for are CONSISTENTLY delivered... Gaps in contractor performance are often a result of: - Inadequate oversight from poor data platforms and systems - Outdated contracts leading to poor KPIs and service measurements - Inefficient reporting and consolidation management tools Our data collected show only 66% of contractor services fully meet the delivery standards they promise, highlighting a significant gap in efficiency and reliability. Here's how you can improve the management of your contractor services to ensure adequate delivery. 1. 📊 Real-Time Monitoring: Use platforms with 24/7 comprehensive oversight and real-time analytics to ensure contractors deliver on their promises. This enables project managers to instantly identify discrepancies in service delivery, enabling immediate corrective actions that can save costs, reduce project delays, and provide clients with ongoing insights into project progress. 2. 🔍 Compliance Tracking: Meticulously track contractor compliance. Documenting contract clauses in line with compliance requirements helps maintain a high standard of work. Identifying non-compliance early is crucial for protecting brand reputation, avoiding costly rework, and ensuring that all contractors are meeting safety and quality regulations, reducing the risk of legal issues and penalties. 3. 🚀 Advanced Data Management Tools: Use tools that will help you manage and rectify potential service discrepancies before they impact your operations. Tools with predictive analytics and automated alerts/checks are crucial for minimising downtime and ensuring that site maintenance is in order. Ensure your projects aren't part of the 34% that suffer from underdelivered contractor services. #ContractorServices #ServiceDelivery #Compliance #VerifiedSolutions
