💡 As I begin to establish my career, I often ponder about the most essential aspect of my work. Reflecting on my various roles, I realise that creating systems and processes has allowed me to undertake numerous meaningful projects.
✅ Each project has a goal, and a well-designed system enables us to achieve it. This provides an opportunity to experiment with various approaches to determine what works and what doesn't. Sometimes, a system might require a complete overhaul, or it might be so effective that it can be adapted for other projects.
⚙️ In my journey from the health sector to higher education, key systems in each setting have been instrumental in achieving project goals. I've also carried some of these systems from my first job into my current role.
⚙️ Moreover, to accomplish a variety of personal projects and hobbies outside of work, it has been crucial to create different systems. Below are some of the systems that have helped me! 👇🏾
Sometimes a career is like running in a forest..Where everything is green, trees are tall as a sign of growth. You cannot see the path ahead as your vision is obscured by the trees. You may experience sunshine, rain or wind. All these elements are necessary for the tall trees and the forest ecosystem.Same with your career there may be sunshine, wind or storms.A forest also have various types of animals which could be the various types of personalities you deal with in you career.Learn and grow from these personalities and try an pickup what you need to learn.
As you walk or run in this huge forest, you have various destinations,at each destination take in what you can as you do not know if you may need it at the next destination.

Why do I suggest everyone start cooking to improve their career?
When we're hungry, when we want to eat something nourishing, we just cook it or order it. We don't wait for the perfect dish to arrive at our doorstep; we have options and we act accordingly because we are hungry.
When you cook, you start with ingredients and end up with something completely new and unique. Then you nourish yourself with the result. Yes, sometimes it's not so delicious, other times it's better, but we cook because we have to eat. If you're not ready to pay for takeout every time, the solution is simple: you cook what you want, that's it. You don't wait for the perfect time, dish, or person to eat with. You act out of necessity. So, why not acknowledge that realizing your potential and developing your skills is just as necessary, especially when you're feeling bitter and unsatisfied with your life because you've waited too long to take action?
Be proactive with this, regularly improve something for your career. Frame it as a necessity, not an option.

This is how I get my College Work done in 1 hour:
1. Gather all your college work which needs to be done.
2. You should have at least 100rs in your pocket.
3. Grab or reach out to your siblings.
(NOTE: In case you don't have siblings then grab your neighbor's children)
4. Bribe them with money or chocolate to do your work
and If they ask for higher reward then negotiate with them.
5. Once jobs done don't forget to give them extra tip so they will be willing to work again.
I do this 2X times in span of 3 days.
Then I utilize that time in improving and learning new skills.
Growing and evolving in my professional career is, for me, like the growth of a plant. In the beginning, like a seed placed in fertile soil, I arrived with latent potential, ready to bloom. The initial nutrients, in the form of training, advice, and experiences, irrigated my roots, much like water nourishes a seed.
As I took root in my career, I began to grow. Professional challenges were the winds, rains, and rays of sunlight that strengthened my stem, making me more resilient. Interactions with my colleagues and mentors were the sun's caresses, promoting photosynthesis, essential for vigorous growth and creative energy.
Gradually, I branched out, developing new skills, embracing broader responsibilities, like a plant spreading its branches and foliage. My professional successes were blooming flowers, signifying my development and enhancing the ecosystem of my career.
Finally, like a mature plant bearing fruit, I have made valuable and lasting contributions to my career, reaping the rewards of my efforts and nurturing a perpetual cycle of growth and prosperity. Thus, my personal and professional growth and the evolution of my career intertwine in a flourishing harmony.
I have Years of experience!
but
The meaning of years of experience isn't just to prove that you're talented and skilled; don't waste your time and energy just for the sake of experience. Instead, focus on adding new skills to yourself over time.
Become a professional,
not just a worker.

I was just talking to my wife about the effort it takes to grow your career - above and beyond just doing a great job. I love mnemonics and a good one struck me. To ascend, you need to catch A.I.R.
A: Awareness - do people know what you do, what you can do, and what you’d like to do more of? Are you proactive in making sure you don’t neglect this or entrust this solely to others?
I: Impact - are you making one? And assuming you are, do you take steps to ensure people are aware of that impact or do you just assume everyone is paying perfect attention?
R: Recognition - are you getting recognition for your efforts and impact? And if not, why not? Is this something you can and would like to change from where you sit, or are you better served by finding a new chair?
I don’t think this is easy, simple, or clear. Actually, it can be pretty painful to face and address all of these aspects, but if you want to GROW and grow your career, a bit of pain and discomfort is necessary, isn’t it?
What do you think? How have you grown your career? Any mnemonics will be appreciated!
I have always wanted to know more about the maritime field and how it works. Fortunately, I got to know one of the best companies that gave me great knowledge about the shipping field. This workshop may be small, but it contained information that makes one realize what the difference is between a shipping line and shipping agent, and also how we created the term logistics and the development of logistics over the years, and all of this is thanks to the instructor Doaa Marey , who gives all the information in order to help you and respond to all questions fluently and with a great of information to help you in your next career step 🙌🏻
