Hiring UI/UX designer with strong UX skills. Strong doesn't mean "main master hun master" Permanent remote job. Flexible hours like "just do your job". "When to do it" is your decision. Throughout my career, I’ve had the pleasure of being mentored by several people with Ph.D’s in cognitive psychology, social psychology, and philosophy. One of them told me, “Design in technology requires you to be good at everything, but really people can only be good at two things, maybe three if they’re lucky.” So when I see all these requirements for design positions, or even when I staff a design team, no one can be the superhero. It takes a combination of strengths. Knowing how to create the blend of talent is the real superpower, the Avengers if you will. So my advice to small companies is don’t just go after the person who can draw screens. Find another person who is great at #userresearch and #requirementsgathering. Together, they will make your business win.
