Volta Metals Ltd. (CSE:VLTA) has reported a successful conclusion to its inaugural drill program at the Falcon West #Lithium Property in northwestern Ontario, Canada. The program, consisting of 11 boreholes and covering a 300 meters (m) by 500m area, revealed spodumene-bearing pegmatites in all drilled locations. Notably, multiple mineralized pegmatites were identified, and new spodumene-bearing pegmatite dykes were uncovered. The thickness of the pegmatites ranged from 1.3m to 14.6m, and the mineralized system demonstrated continuity along both strike and depth, leaving ample room for expansion. This encouraging outcome reinforces the potential for substantial lithium mineralization within the roughly 13- square kilometer property. 🔊DRILLING RECOMMENCES AT Terra Metals DANTE REEFS PROJECT • Phase 2 diamond drilling has commenced at Reef 1. Following completion of diamond drilling at Reef 1, the diamond rig will move to Reef 2. • At least 2,200m of diamond drilling is planned, with diamond core to be used for preliminary metallurgical test work, obtaining specific gravity data for mineral resource estimations, structural and mineralogical data, and extending mineralisation where reverse circulation (“RC”) drilling failed to reach target depth. • In addition, plans are currently being finalised to mobilise a RC rig to commence further infill and extensional drilling at Reefs 1 and 2. • Following drilling at Reefs 1 and 2, the RC rig will commence reconnaissance drilling at new priority copper-PGE sulphide targets across the project. • The Company plans to continue drilling for the remainder of the 2024 drilling season, with a focus on growing existing discoveries and drill testing new copper-PGE sulphide targets across the 650km2 project area. • Assay results remain pending from 22 drillholes drilled across Reef 1 (south) and the Cronus Prospect during the Company’s maiden RC drill program. We've returned high-grade results from the final 24 drill holes of our 2023 resource definition drilling program at the Tardiff deposit, part of our Nechalacho Rare Earth Project in NWT, Canada. Highlights include 53.5m at 1.5% TREO from 6.7m, including 1.8m at 8% TREO within 15.8m at 2.6% TREO. The mineralisation remains open to the west, northwest, and southern margins, confirming potential for shallow, higher-grade resource expansion. We plan to update the Mineral Resource Estimate for Tardiff, which currently stands at 213Mt at 1.17% TREO, and aim to deliver a scoping study by the end of 2024. VP Exploration Dr. Natalie Pietrzak-Renaud said: “We are thrilled with these very encouraging assays which round out our results from 2023. Across the board, our results point to areas within Tardiff of more continuous higher-grade mineralisation that we can target in future expansion drilling. The deep drilling aim is "to test a conductive Mobile Magnetotelluric (#MobileMT) anomaly at depths interpreted to be near the basal contact at the keel of the complex, which could represent high-grade massive nickel sulphide mineralization. The hole has already intersected several remobilised sulphide veinlets oblique to the core and sometimes occurring in vein sets currently interpreted as indicative of a deep sulphide source. Empire Metals Ltd (AIM:EEE) told #investors that the latest drill results from the Pitfield project in #WesternAustralia have confirmed "strong" #TitaniumMineralization. Strong #TitaniumMineralisation was confirmed throughout the entire first Diamond Core drill hole, from surface to end of hole at around 408 metres, the company noted. It supports the company’s expectation for the presence of a “district scale” system containing multiple, thick higher-grade #titanium zones. Detailed results from the diamond drilling are expected “shortly” and together with today’s results are expected to provide insights into mineralogy, grades and geological controls.
