Principal at Furst Group | Advisor | Coach | Consultant | Board of Directors | Diversity Champion | Executive Recruitment | Talent Management
During the recent Women Leaders in Healthcare luncheon, Kim Keck, President & CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, reminded us that leadership isn’t just about being at the forefront. It's also about knowing when to step back and empower others to shine. In today's fast-paced world, true leadership requires the wisdom to balance both “leading” and “supporting.” Kim's words echo to us that leadership isn't a one-size-fits-all role. In fact, the best leaders recognize the power of collaboration and the importance of nurturing talent by sometimes leading from behind. It's in these moments that leaders truly elevate their teams and drive lasting impact. What a powerful reminder of the nuanced art of leadership! We can’t wait to celebrate more phenomenal healthcare leaders and connect at the Diversity Leaders in Healthcare Awards, Tuesday, September 17th in Chicago. For more than 15 years, Furst Group and NuBrick Partners have sponsored and supported Diversity and Women Leaders programs that highlight outstanding leaders creating positive, sustainable change across healthcare. We hope to see you there! You can learn more about this year's Diversity and Women Leader honorees in the comments below. #Inclusion #HealthcareLeaders

You’re invited to the Empowered Women’s Leadership Conference 2024! We are redefining the paradigm of of feminine leadership in 2 days… Recently someone asked me why we were devoting our time, energy, and resources to creating this women’s conference. The answer is that we have never SEEN or BEEN TO an event like this one before. We have certainly attended conferences for women but they have not encompassed all of the things that women have to plan for and often worry about every day. You know those areas…..work-life harmony, wellness, wealth building, leadership, and relationships! Our desire was pretty simple: to create an experience that we WISH we had the opportunity to attend. Our vision is to unapologetically SHOW and TEACH the women who attend this event to define their leadership and their lives on their terms! This is more than an event….this is a MOVEMENT. A movement redefining what it means to be a woman in leadership Yes! We can be open and transparent and still be respected. Yes! We deserve and can get individualized support no matter where we are in our life or business. Yes! We can make relationships with other kickass women who are all in for our success. Yes! We can create lifelong connections that will validate us and our efforts. Yes! We can support and help other women, we can lift other while we rise! This is about… Empowering women to claim the life that’s meant for them! Becoming better mothers, partners, daughters, friends, & spouses! Reshaping the paradigm of equality for women in business & leadership! Going first and setting an example to shape future generations of leaders! We have lined up amazing leaders in their fields who are ready to rock our worlds! We are filling the room with women who are: • ready to lead in a bigger way, grow your organization, scale your business • ready to reinvent, leadership makeover, for your “2nd act” • know it’s time to prioritize THEMSELVES again • ready to get “unstuck” • poised to break out of their “normal routine” and interrupt patterns that no longer serve them well • ready to get in the room with other women who understand the journey you’re on • interested in connect to other women and be in a supportive community Sound like you? How confident are you about the year ahead? Me? I'm 100% confident that the year will bring change for us all. And if we look at the data, many of those changes will be unprecedented Ok, so it doesn't take a genius to work that one out. What I'm much less confident about is how well people will prepare for or react to those changes. Because it seems that most business plans for 2024 are based more or less on plans for 2023, 2022, and so on, ie. broadly continuing business as usual - with a little bit more or less of some things. But BAU just isn't going to cut it this time. Employees, customers/clients, investors, and nature, expect and deserve better. So much better. It's time to reinvent business and create a better future. That's why we've curated for you at our Business for Good Festival an incredible line up of speakers and deep-dive workshops to help us better understand and improve our impact on people and our planet. To shape a better world. This isn't another blah, blah, blah conference. This is your opportunity to connect with other forward-thinking leaders, step up, speak out, and be the change the world so desperately needs. Are you in? Hope to see you there :) #impact #betterbusiness #betterworld #reinvention #regeneration #impactOnBoard #BusinessForGoodFestival #Chester #Cheshire #BCorp
