🎉 Exciting News! 🎉 We're thrilled to welcome Jeffrey Wigdahl as our new Chief Technology Officer. 🚀 Jeff brings years of experience to the team and has a strong background in image processing, machine learning, and vision-related research. In 2017, Jeff received his PhD from the University of Padua while working to develop retinal vascular measurement software for a Marie Curie Initial Training Network Program grant funded by the European Union. He comes to Vitazi.ai, Inc. after spending 8 years as a research scientist at VisionQuest Biomedical Inc. (Albuquerque, NM), where he was a former NIH SBIR award winner, developing automated software to detect retinopathy of prematurity from digital binocular indirect ophthalmoscope videos. He has also worked on the development of various image quality and disease detection software systems related to retinal imaging. With a proven track record of success, we’re confident that his insights will drive our tech innovation efforts to new heights.
