DRIVE TO STORE WITH THE DIGITALISATION OF CATALOGUES Today we were kindly invited by Alliance Digitale to talk about drive to store: ▶ When talking about promotions, today's consumers are split between digital and paper, at least in Europe 🇪🇺 , where the transition will be gradual, whereas in countries like 🇧🇷 Brazil or 🇮🇳 India we are already in a post-catalogue era. ▶ Certainly, legislative frameworks like Oui Pub 🇫🇷 (opt'in to receive the paper catalogue in the inbox 📬 ) are an opportunity to accelerate the process. ▶ More than using the wording "catalogue", we should be talking of how to create a personalized and industrialized commercial offer to reach the omniconsumer in the most pertinent way. ▶ A further boost is coming thank to the future convergence of promotions with Retail Media, with an audience that will organically consume both. #drivetostore #retailmedia #promotion #retail #digitalisation #aristidretailtechnology

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜: ♻️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻-𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗙𝗹𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹 I just wrapped up a presentation for the IAB Europe for several leading RMNs in Europe on the topic of in-store #retailmedia. In one sense, I felt like they should be presenting to me. European retailers are at least 5 years ahead of the US in embracing, enabling, and measuring in-store ads. But we’re still in the early days of this opportunity--both in Europe and the US-- and there’s a long way to go before it reaches its potential. One theme I kept coming back to is that in-store retail media must be synonymous with quality. It is entirely possible to deliver high-quality creative that is CX-positive and creates new value for shoppers, brands, and retailers. My latest article for Media, Ads + Commerce—which you might’ve missed since it published during the holiday week—looks at CX as the foundation of the 𝗜𝗻-𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗙𝗹𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹 and how incremental (and self-perpetuating) value can be created.
